ADLAI OPOKU-BOAMAH
Managing Director
Adlai holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 28 years’ experience across multiple business sectors including Manufacturing, FMCG, Downstream Oil & Gas, Logistics, Electricity Distribution and Other Utilities. He is currently the Managing Director of the Southern Utilities Group, of which Helios Solar Company Limited belongs to , a subsidiary of LMI Holdings in Ghana.
ALBERT AGGREY
Metering, Billing and Revenue Protection Engineer
Albert holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He had his National Service at Ghana Grid Company Limited where he worked with the Network Performance Department and worked as an Electrical Technician for Coca Cola Ghana for six months. He is currently the Metering, Billing and Revenue Protection Engineer. He is responsible for all customer and supplier meter installations and ensures efficient running of meters and oversees the meter reading and billing cycles, as well as ensuring billing accuracy. He ensures the company adopts leading-edge technology in its metering and billing issues.
ANNA DUAH-OWUSU
Finance and accounts manager
As a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with over 5 years of experience in accounting and audit, Anna serves a key role in her profession with a clear and logical mind and a drive to see things through to completion. She holds a Masters in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Cape Coast and is a Chartered Accountant by profession with certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountant Ghana. She obtained her degree from the University of Cape Coast in Bachelor of Commerce. Anna is currently the Accounts and Finance Manager where she oversees the various financial activities for the company and the other subsidiaries in the group. Prior to HSC, she worked with CFAO Ghana Ltd in 2016 as an Accounts Officer ensuring accurate maintenance of accounting records and prepare management reports, JA Duah & Co as an audit officer where she prepared management letters on audit reviews and assisted in the preparation of final accounts for clients and worked in KPMG as an audit intern where she assisted in conducting operational and financial reviews for client and continued to Schlumberger Seaco Incorporated as an account receivable analyst.
BEATRICE YEBOAA
HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER
Beatrice joined HSC as the Human Resource Officer. Prior to joining the team, she worked in LMI Holdings as the Procurement, Admin and Logistics Officer. She had her national service at the Volta River Authority with the Department of Environment and Sustainable Development Department. Beatrice holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
FRANK YIRENKYI
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER
Frank Yirenkyi joined Helios Solar Company in 2019 as the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. He is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the company’s employee safety at work and ensuring that the company complies and adheres to environmental and occupational health and safety guidelines. He was a Safety Officer at Unilever Ghana and Environmental Health and Safety Manager at LMI Holdings. He holds a Certificate in Safety (NEBOSH), Mini MBA in Project Management, Almond Institute and BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
MAAME YAA POKU
CUSTOMER AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS OFFICER
Maame Yaa holds a Degree in Sociology and Social Work from the University of Ghana, Legon. Prior to joining Helios Solar Company, she fulfilled her National Service requirement at LMI Holdings. She is the Customer and External Relations Officer for HSC. She is responsible for all customer issues, managing communication between the company and its publics as well as generating goodwill for the company amongst its customers.
MERCY YEBOAH

Mercy is an HND holder in Marketing from the Accra Polytechnic now known as the Accra Technical University. Prior to joining HSC, she worked with the Tema Metropolitan Assembly where she worked with the Deputy Finance Officer in the collection and preparation of bills (Property rate AND Business Operating Permit) for the Tema constituency. She joined HSC in October 2020 as an Administrative Assistant and is responsible for the promotion of the company brand and management of the front desk office as well as performing other administrative duties
YVONNE ASAMOAH-OYE
Personal Assistant to MD
Yvonne is currently the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and has some training in Human Resource Management and Records Keeping Management. Prior to working with Helios Solar Company, she worked with an NGO in Tema called Meaningful Life International as their Administrator.
HENRY HLORGBEY
SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT & PLANNING ENGINEER
Henry holds a first degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Accra Institute of Technology and an HND from the Ho Polytechnic. He has over 9 years of experience in the power sector working in the fields of maintenance, operating, and protection and control (P&C). He joined HSC in 2021 as the System Development and Planning Engineer. He works in providing engineering analysis and technical support to ensure continuing reliable operations and data management of Helios Solar Company. He also provides electrical engineering analysis and technical support for the planning, development, and operation of water systems, implements appropriate system modelling, develops tools and procedures to monitor and control the system, performs system studies, analyzes simulated or actual operating results, develops solutions to current or future system issues, and appropriately reports findings and recommendations
PAUL AGBETUM SIAMEH
ACCOUNTANT
Paul is an astute Accounting and Finance professional with over five (5) years in-depth experience in Accounting, Audit, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Risk and Taxation. He served in various capacities as a Financial Officer, Audit Senior, and Financial Accountant in the financial sector, and in management consultancy. In 2021, Paul joined Helios Solar Company as an Accountant, bringing on board his varied expertise. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant by Profession, with certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, and also holds an MBA in Accounting & Finance from the University of Professional Studies, UPSA, Accra, Ghana.
ERNEST QUANSAH
ACCOUNTS CLERK
Ernest holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast and an HND in Accounting from Koforidua Technical University (formerly Koforidua Polytechnic). He is a strong and well-informed accounts, and finance & administrative officer with over seven (7) years of working experience in accounting, taxation, finance and pensions. His widespread experience cut across the manufacturing and service sectors. He joined Helios Solar Company in 2021 as an Accounts Clerk.
SAMUEL KYEI-BOATENG
PROJECT MANAGER
Samuel is a self-motivated, passionate and results-oriented Electrical Engineer with laudable experience and expertise in Renewable Energy Systems, markets, Energy Economics and design with a strong passion for developing sustainable energy solutions for communities, commercial and industrial sectors. Samuel holds a Galileo Master Certificate in Renewable Energy Management and Finance from the Renewable Energy Institute, UK. Prior to joining Helios Solar as the Project Manager, Samuel was the Technical Advisor for the Project Development Program unit of the German Development Corporation (GIZ) where he carried out qualitative research, mainly to identify viable project opportunities and also conducted financial and economic analysis for Renewable Energy Projects. Samuel also worked as consultant with the International Advisory Services of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management on their Clean Captive Installations for Industrial Clients in Sub-Sahara Africa in Ghana.
PEARL AFARI
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
A seasoned professional with 10 years in the banking sector and three years in project management. Pearl holds a commonwealth executive MBA from KNUST and BSC in computer science from All Nations University. Prior to joining Helios Solar Company she worked with the receivership, Legacy Capital and UBA in various capacities. Pearl joined HSC in 2022 as an Office administrator.
